Flooding has had a huge impact on our community, so it’s great news that this Labour Government is investing £2.7 million in local flood defence projects, including the Copley Village Flood Alleviation Scheme and Hebble Brook.

This is part of a wider investment across Calderdale to protect homes, businesses, and infrastructure for the long term.

When I visited Slow The Flow in December, we discussed just how important these measures are – so I’m pleased to see real support being delivered to help keep our communities safe.
