Celebrating World Book Day with Halifax Academy Primary School at No. 10!

To celebrate #WorldBookDay this year, I joined students from Halifax Academy primary school on a special visit to No.10!

During the visit, the children met the Secretary of State for Education, learned how to illustrate books, and even rapped with the brilliant MC Grammar (I did join in..!)

It was great to learn about what reading means to them, and I hope this visit to Downing Street gave them a story of their own to share. A big thank you to Mr Adams for helping to organise such a memorable experience for the students, and well done on your very impressive rapping skills!
